Chemnad Jama-ath English Medium School is established in 1995 at Chemnad, the cultural and heritage center of Kasaragod. The school is owned and managed by Chemnad Jama-ath Committee, the socio- religious authority of Muslim Community in Chemnad with the approval of Kerala Government.
The aim of school is to impart modern education through the medium of English to the new generation of Chemnad and nearby localities. The school also aims at building up new generation who values human virtues.
Four language formula, ie. English, Hindi, Arabic and Malayalam is followed from standard I to VII and computer education is also provided with latest version. In nursery classes English is strictly followed.
Arrangement is made for religious instructions to Muslim students compulsorily. There is a Prayer Hall in the school campus exclusively for Muslim girls. Topmost priority is given for character form action and upliftment of moral standards.
Now the school is utilized by students from various places besides Chemnad. The facility of the school is well established and the result is well appreciated. The Management assures equal emphasis to curricular and extracurricular activities and has rendering their devoted services for the wellbeing of the school. The arrangements are made for the students to study up to Plus Two (+2) courses under the same management. The dedication and instantiable action of management as well as teachers have become a driving force for the well-directed growth of the school.
